--Rwanda offers two types of visas. Use the instructions below to apply for a visa sticker

--US citizens will qualify for a 10yr multiple entry visa. Expediting is not always available for 10yr visas.

--Non-US citizens will qualify for a single entry 1mo or multi entry 3mo visa only.
--AVS can process visas for all applicants nationwide regardless of jurisdiction
--If you are traveling to Kenya or Uganda after Rwanda, you can apply for East Africa visa. It will be a multiple entry 90 day visa and will cover your trips to all 3 countries.

*Please include our service fee and return delivery payment or a completed air bill. Incomplete payment, incomplete applications or documents and wrong application form will cause a delay in processing the above visa application.

** The service fees are non-refundable, once we receive your documents and start processing them. Embassy fees are non-refundable once your paperwork is submitted to the Embassy. Due to the high volume of applications being submitted, the processing times may be delayed by the Passport Agency and any Embassy. While such situations are beyond our control, we will do everything possible to accommodate your trip and will notify you immediately to let you know about the status of your application.

TOURIST REQUIREMENTS


  • Original signed passport- must have a minimum of 6mo of validity left and have 2-3 clear visa pages
  • Two passport photos 2"x 2" (must be taken within last 2-3 months)
  • One visa application form (click here to download)
  • One AVS Order Form (click here to download)
  • Copy of flight itinerary
  • Copy of hotel reservation
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination Card (copies accepted)
  • Copy of green card for non-US citizens



BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS


  • Original signed passport- must have a minimum of 6mo of validity left and have 2-3 clear visa pages
  • Two passport photos 2"x 2" (must be taken within last 2-3 months)

  • One business letter from US company (click here to download sample) 
  • One letter of invitation from a company in Rwanda (copies accepted)
  • Copy of flight itinerary
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination Card (copies accepted)
  • Copy of green card for non-US citizens


EAST AFRICA TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS- you must enter through Rwanda


  • Original signed passport-must have a minimum of 6mo of validity left and have 2-3 clear visa pages
  • Two passport photos 2"x 2" (must be taken within last 2-3 months)

  • Copy of flight itinerary showing travel to Rwanda & Kenya/Uganda
  • Copy of hotel reservation or printout of tour package with day by day itinerary
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination Card (copies accepted)

COVID-19 UPDATE:The Embassy of Rwanda started issuing visas. US citizens can currently apply for a multiple entry 10yr visa only. Please follow instructions below.
